The first festival of my Europe tour this year was in a town called Vaduz, in Liechtenstein. I hadn’t heard much about the country before, so I asked the festival staff how to get there. I decided to travel by plane and bus.
Right after finishing the Fukuyama Daidogei festival, I quickly packed and caught my flight. I flew from Tokyo to Beijing, then to Munich, and finally took a bus to Vaduz. As I arrived, I saw mountains and the beautiful Vaduz Castle—it was a charming town.

Although Liechtenstein is known for having a lot of rain, we were lucky that it stayed mostly dry during the two-day festival. I was relieved!

This festival has been running for 10 years, and I could really feel how much the local community loves it. It was a wonderful experience to perform alongside kind audiences and amazing fellow performers.
