I did a show in a shopping mall in Bahrain in early April. I went to Bahrain last December as well, so I have not been back in 4 months. I was happy to get to Bahrain again sooner than I thought I would.
First of all, 13 hours overdue flight from Tokyo to Istanbul. Luckily, the seat next to mine was empty.

I’ve visited Istanbul airport a lot in the past year.
Then we traveled 4 hours from Istanbul to Bahrain. It was still a tough day’s travel.
The next day was spent preparing and walking all day.

On the first day of the event, all the performers and managers gathered for many tours of the shopping mall. The Marassi Galleria mall is a new shopping mall that opened last year and is an excellent facility, very clean and upmarket.

Here’s what the show looked like on day one.
It was unthinkable at first that this would last for 11 days.
But now that I look back it was a moment in time.

My show happened to coincide with Islamic prayer times.

Performers of different nationalities have become an important family that brings the same event to life.
We all went for a meal together after the show. For some reason, there were many Asiatic restaurants, including Thai, Vietnamese and Indian.
In the blink of an eye, two weeks in Bahrain were over. The last show was so exciting that it will be very memorable.

I thought I love the Bahraini people. If I wished to do another show in Bahrain, could I go back in four months’ time?
